External lighting behind the stained glass casts a concentrated glow across the interior, contrasting sharply with the rough, weathered stonework. Organic materials—ground fall leaves and scattered debris—were used to reinforce the sense of abandonment, suggesting a space overtaken by time and left to settle into stillness.
